Eligibility
- Foreign nationals invited by a Maldivian company, government institution, or registered organisation.
- Visit purpose limited to meetings, conferences, training, audits, or contract negotiations.
- Applicant must hold a passport with a minimum validity of six (6) months.
How to Apply
- 01The inviting Maldivian entity logs in to the IMUGA portal using a valid eFaas account.
- 02Select the Meeting Visa service and start a new application.
- 03Provide the visitor's personal details, passport details, and travel itinerary.
- 04Upload the invitation letter and supporting documents listed below.
- 05Submit the application and pay the applicable fee.
- 06Once approved, the visitor receives the Meeting Visa approval to present on arrival.
Documents Required
- Visitor's passport biodata page (clear colour copy).
- Recent passport-size photograph per Maldives Immigration photo standards.
- Formal invitation letter from the Maldivian host entity stating purpose and duration.
- Confirmed return travel itinerary.
- Confirmed accommodation booking in the Maldives.
- Host's company registration or institutional credentials.
Validity & Conditions
- Meeting Visa is typically issued for up to 30 days and may be extended once on request.
- Holders may not engage in any form of paid employment during the visit.
- The host entity is responsible for the visitor's accommodation, expenses, and lawful conduct.
If the purpose of the visit changes during the stay, a new visa application reflecting the updated purpose must be submitted.
